We thought this was a great little idea for a bonus. You could easily pay for the cost of Ted’s Woodworking just by selling one tiny project of your own.
Whether you’re a fan of Ted’s Woodworking or not at this stage, it’s difficult to deny that there is a huge amount of content available in this product. Probably the most we’ve ever seen in a collection of woodworking resources.
We’re unsure if Ted McGrath is just a pen name for a group of authors working collectively on the project or if Ted is a real person and the master woodworking that tedswoodworking.com claims he is!
To be honest, we’re probably leaning further towards the first option… we’re not convinced.
We’ve never seen an actual video of him, and we also found images of him on various stock image content websites.
Unless he’s modelling for other places these days with his rugged, “silver fox” looks from his fame in the woodworking world, we’re pretty sure “Ted Mcgrath” is just an idea.
Either way, it’s hard not to smile when you see “him” and hear “his” voice on the product’s sales page; a true lumberjack awakening the sense of outdoors inside of you!
Does Ted’s questionable existence take anything away from the product itself?
Absolutely not.
Ted Mcgrath’s existence is irrelevant, it’s the idea of Ted McGrath and what he stands for that matters.
Woodworking is for all – it should be fun, unlock your passions, be accessible to all, and ultimately, make the world a better place.
Clearly the owners prefer to stay anonymous and operate under a pen name. This doesn’t bother us and it shouldn’t bother you.
There’s plenty of authors doing that in the world of fiction and non-fiction, alike, and we wouldn’t bat an eyelid at that.
There is an enormous range of variety in Ted’s vault. When you open it, you can literally feel yourself being flooded by a world of color, excitement and endless opportunity.
The latter is one of the things we love the most about the program. Excuse the cliché, but there really is something for everyone!
